Tonight’s the night! The garden is set, the art is hung, and the glasses are ready.
From 5 to 7pm, The Wayback garden becomes an open-air gallery featuring three Austin artists:
Hunter Ash: abstract painting
Madison Popkess: watercolor
Jonathan Howard: oil painting
New this evening: Catedral Mezcal will be pouring tastings in the cabana. It’s a small-batch, additive-free mezcal in the highlands of Oaxaca, so it’s worth a detour between paintings.
We’ll also have complimentary tasting pours from Illahe Vineyards, a family-run, sustainably certified vineyard in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, and the bar will be open all evening.
Wander the garden, meet the makers, and find something that speaks to you. Every piece is available to purchase, so you can take your favorite home tonight.
Stay for dinner afterward. Reserve a table at The Wayback Cafe for seasonal, farm-to-table plates.
