Summer’s easing into fall out here on Bee Cave Road, and we’ve got a few reasons to get you back out here this month — Here’s what’s on the calendar!
Wednesday, September 23 — Stitch & Bind: A Bookbinding Workshop
Set your phone down and spend a morning learning to make something with your hands. Carol Liao of Stitch & Bind walks you through two classic techniques — pamphlet stitch and Japanese stab binding — and you’ll leave with two finished handmade notebooks (a pocket-sized pamphlet book and a larger stab-bound journal). All materials included, no experience necessary, small group setting.

Thursday, September 24 — Watercolor Workshop: Fig Botanical with Madison Popkess
A beginner-friendly watercolor session built for summer slipping into fall. Madison walks you through color mixing and layered technique as you paint a fig botanical, with our coffee bar open during class and a farm-to-table lunch available after for anyone who wants to linger. Limited seating.

Saturday, September 26 — Live Jazz at the Wayback Cafe
Come for dinner, stay for the music. We’re hosting a live jazz set on the patio,
6:30–8:30 PM — easy drinks, good food, and something in the air that feels like the Hill Country in early fall.

Happy Hour is also in full swing Wednesday through Saturday, 3–5 PM — half off bottles of wine and $3 off signature cocktails, dine-in only. Good excuse to come early and stay for the show.

And a quick heads up: September is the last month for our famous watermelon margarita before it heads off-menu for the season — worth working into your visit while it’s still around.
