There are few better ways to spend a July morning in Texas than on the water.
Wake up in your cottage, enjoy a slow breakfast beneath the trees, and then head down to Lake Austin for a morning of kayaking, boating, paddleboarding, swimming, or simply soaking in the views.
Another excellent option is to go hiking in Commons Ford Ranch, just five minutes up the road from The Wayback, where you can also jump into the water.

After a morning in the sun, return to The Wayback and settle into a slower pace.
