Austin’s in for a wet stretch — rain moving in Wednesday and sticking around through Friday. And honestly? We’re not mad about it. There’s something about gray skies and a warm cup of coffee indoors that makes the cottages feel even more like an escape — and if we’re being honest, a little coziness is exactly what we’ve been dreaming about all summer.
A quick heads up if you’re planning to dine with us Wednesday through Friday: with the rain, there’s a good chance our patio and lawn will be closed. We’d recommend making a reservation for indoor seating and settling in — think warm light, good food, and zero reason to rush.
The good news? The forecast is turning. Highs are expected to hit around 80 degrees this weekend — which, around here, we’re calling the official first day of patio weather — and we’re celebrating it right with live jazz from Joshua Aldrete on the patio, Saturday, October 3rd, 6:30–8:30 PM. First patio weekend of Fall, done properly. Add it to your calendar.
Happy Hour is running Wednesday through Saturday, 3–5 PM — half off bottles of wine and $3 off signature cocktails, dine-in only. Good timing whether you’re cozied up inside this week or back on the patio this weekend.
